Molded Fiber Glass Construction Products (MFG-CP: Independence,
KS), produced custom ellipse-shaped FRP column forms as part of
renowned architect Frank Gehry’s “Beekman Tower”
in Lower Manhattan, NYC. Custom-designed to create an imposing
presence in the residential project’s interior lobby; four
(4), 2-piece, 19-foot elliptical shaped forms were made using
an FRP gun roving processes with resin, chopped strand matt and
24 oz. woven roving.
