Pile Jackets 

Molded Fiber Glass CP was selected to assist the New York City Economic Development Corporation in restoring the New York City Passenger Ship Terminal. As part of the clean up NYC plan, a cleaner Hudson River led to an invasion of wood-boring marine worms that have infiltrated and eroded the timber piles of the PST’s three, approximately 1,000 feet long and 125 feet wide, finger piers. MFG CP manufactured approximately 1,500 to 2,000 corrosion free, cost effective, one piece pile repair sleeve that divers were able to assemble underwater. The pile jackets can be quickly and easily modified in the field.
